Mike Lee promoted a false narrative on his social media, implying a Jan. 6 rioter holding what looked like a vape was an undercover agent, which has been debunked by multiple sources including the accused individual, Kevin Lyons, who admitted guilt and is serving prison time. The claim was initially made by another convicted rioter, Derrick Evans, and despite corrections and retractions from others who had shared it, Lee has yet to remove his post.
